All Roads Lead to Brampton

You don’t hear much about acts who take their shot and miss, but I’ll tell you what happens to them.  They end up working dead end jobs on crazy shifts because they spent too much time chasing their dreams and not enough time preparing for what happens should that dream not come true. I was always taught to be mindful of that. I grew up in Brampton Ontario.  A 45 min drive from the centre of...

Back to the Future

Tomorrow I’ll be 43 years old.  Crazy. It makes you think a bit, each birthday that comes now, seemingly faster every year. When I started out in magic as a small child, I’d never have guessed I’d turn pro at 16 years of age and never have to get a job of any kind other than performing my act for the next 27 years.  If I’m lucky, I’ll get to perform full time for another 27.  Two and a half ...

That said there’s thousands, maybe tens o...

Its helped my profile quite a bit, and as a result I’ve been hired to work the type of events I really want to ...

Summer performances

My Summer Vacation I’m a corporate comedian and magician. So basically that means I perform at conferences and conventions.  That’s the bulk of my work.  I occasionally perform in public theaters and headline onboard cruise ships, but mostly its after dinner entertainment for me.  I love the work, I understand it, and I’m good at it.  I’ve never had a real job, as in a 9-5 job.  I’ve always ...
